Goed nieuws!
De studenten van team Robohub Eindhoven hebben zich ook dit jaar weer gekwalificeerd voor deelname aan de wereldwijde studenten competitie van Global Robocup 2021. Tijdens de wedstrijden zullen de studenten van Fontys Engineering de strijd aan gaan met internationale teams uit verschillende landen, zoals Duitsland, Singapore en India.

Over RoboCup@Work 
RoboCup@Work is de nieuwste competitie in de wereldwijde RoboCup competitie, gericht op het gebruik van robots in werk gerelateerde scenario’s. RoboCup@Work maakt gebruik van bewezen ideeën en concepten van andere RoboCup-competities om open onderzoeks-uitdagingen in industriële- en service-robotica aan te pakken. Met de introductie van deze competitie opent RoboCup zich voor onderzoekers zoals studenten, docenten en werknemers die onderzoek doen naar zowel klassieke als innovatieve robotica-scenario’s met een zeer hoge relevantie voor de robotica-industrie.

Team Robohub Eindhoven succesvol
in de voorgaande jaren waren studenten van team Robohub Eindhoven ook al succesvol tijdens de internationale Robocup wedstrijden. Deelname aan de Global Robocup Sydney, Australie 2019 was een van de hoogtepunten voor het team.

Voorbereidingen in beeld
Komende weken zullen wij regelmatig updates plaatsen over onze voortgang bij de voorbereidingen. Ook zullen onze teamleden zich aan u voorstellen.

Live stream beschikbaar
Binnenkort kan u op Twitch.tv onze vorderingen live volgen. Uiteraard zullen de wedstrijden in Juni 2021 ook live te volgen zijn.

Splinternieuwe bouwlokatie BIC
Team Robohub heeft een nieuwe lokatie, nl. op Brainport Industrie Campus (BIC) in Eindhoven! Op de BIC heeft Fontys Engineering een vestiging. Daar hebben ook interessante Engineering bedrijven een vestiging, zoals robotica bedrijf Yaskawa en het bedrijf AM-flow dat post-production verzorgt bij 3D print processen.

HBO onderwijs: minor Adaptive Robotics
Op de BIC wordt o.a. onderwijs verzorgd voor derde jaar studenten die zich hebben ingeschreven voor de minor Adaptive Robotics. Docent Ronald Scheer is namens de opleiding Mechatronica betrokken bij de minor Adaptive Robotics. Ronald is al jaren lang betrokken als mentor en coach bij verschillende Engineering studenten teams, waaronder Robohub Eindhoven.

Ook een bijdrage leveren?
Wij zoeken studenten van technische studie richtingen zoals Werktuigbouwkunde, Elektrotechniek, ICT en Mechatronica. Ook niet-technische studenten zijn van harte welkom, zoals studenten Bedrijfskunde, Communicatie en Economie.

Good news!
The students of team Robohub Eindhoven have again qualified this year for participation in the global student competition of Global Robocup 2021. During the competitions, the students of Fontys Engineering will compete with international teams from different countries, such as Germany, Singapore and India.

About RoboCup @ Work
RoboCup @ Work is the newest competition in the worldwide RoboCup competition, aimed at the use of robots in work-related scenarios. RoboCup @ Work uses proven ideas and concepts from other RoboCup competitions to tackle open research challenges in industrial and service robotics. With the introduction of this competition, RoboCup opens up to researchers such as students, teachers and employees who are researching both classic and innovative robotics scenarios with very high relevance to the robotics industry.

Brand new building location BIC in Eindhoven
Fontys Engineering has established itself on the Brainport Industry Campus (BIC) Eindhoven. Interesting engineering companies also have a branch there, such as robotics company Yaskawa and the company AM-flow that provides post-production for 3D printing processes.

Bachelor education: minor Adaptive Robotics
At the BIC Fontys Engineering provides education for third-year students who have registered for the minor Adaptive Robotics. Teacher Ronald Scheer is involved in the Adaptive Robotics minor on behalf of the Mechatronics study program. Ronald has been involved for many years as a mentor and coach in various Engineering student teams, including Robohub Eindhoven.

Team Robohub Eindhoven successful
in previous years, students of the Robohub Eindhoven team were also successful during the international Robocup competitions. Participation in the Global Robocup Sydney, Australia 2019 was one of the highlights for the team.

Would you like to contribute to our team?
We are looking for students of technical studies such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ICT and Mechatronics. Non-technical students are also very welcome, such as Business Administration, Communication and Economics students.
